JME: The Full Time Freelance Writer

I created this blog maybe a month ago or so, and I really haven’t put anytime into updating it. I’m sorry about that, but it’s a project that just hasn’t been a top priority for me as of late. Hopefully in the near future I will dedicate some time to this in terms of setting up a more attractive layout and updating more frequently.

Anyway, the point of this post is to say that I am now officially a full time freelance writer. Do to certain, ahem, changes in my employment status, I am now working on my writing for my main gig. I’m freelancing on a variety of different outlets, taking on individual SEO projects for different clients and also working on some of my own website projects.

It’s a period of transition for me but it’s very exciting. So far, so good, as it looks like the bills are getting paid. Hopefully I will begin to expand the scope of my work and really establish myself as a go-to source for quality, freelance SEO content writing (and of course, sports writing).

Getting more boxing writing in

I’m proud to say that I am now the Director of Boxing Content at Pro Fighting Fans. That means I’m producing a ton of boxing coverage over there that doesn’t go up in my other outlets. I’m doing division rankings, fight previews, fight recaps, pound for pound lists, interviews and much more. It’s exciting and I’m glad I have  another outlet to get all of that boxing writing out of my system!

It also means that I can recruit new boxing writers to produce their own content and I’m in charge of giving assignments and editing assignments pertaining to boxing. So if you have a passion for boxing wanted an outlet to showcase some of your work and get more experience, head over to the site and shoot us an email.

NHL Playoffs Coverage

Who doesn’t love the NHL playoffs? For my money, they are probably the best playoffs of any sport, and the games are intense, exciting, rowdy and passionate. I’ve already been lucky enough to see my Rangers beat the Capitals in Game 2 of their series here in DC.

Anyway, I have begun covering the NHL Playoffs for Pro Hockey Fans. Every day I’m writing recaps about all of the games and breaking down the series with previews as well.

So if you’re looking for some NHL playoffs coverage, that’s the place to be.
